We here at Twisted Oaks Berners have been a Bernese Mountain Dog-loving family for over 14 years. Our love for this breed has only grown stronger and more passionate each passing year.  In 2017, we as a family decided to begin breeding this magnificent and loyal breed. We have meticulously sought out the bloodlines that make up our Twisted Oaks Berners. Our bloodlines are mainly European with lnternational Championships within those lines, as well as the United States. We focus on all the important recommended health screening. Our dogs are PennHip, OFA Elbow, Cardiac, and CAER, as well as DM, SOD1B and vWD, genetically tested, AKC Registered, AKC DNA profiled and registered with BernerGarde. Our focus lies on generational longevity, temperament, and socialization. All our puppies are vet checked at 2-4 days of age and "only" rear dewclaws are removed. The puppies are wormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks of age. At 8 weeks the puppies get their first set of vaccinations, are AKC Reunite microchipped and health guaranteed by our licensed veterinarian. NUTRITION

There are so many pet foods to choose from, finding the right one can be an overwhelming task. Proper nutrition for our dogs is a top priority, and after much research, we are convinced that TLC Pet Food is the best food out there! It is important for the proper growth and development of the Bernese Mountain Dog to be fed a diet that is not too high in protein and contains a proper ratio of Calcium and Phosphorus. We have had wonderful results with TLC and even our picky eaters love.

We are dedicated to the health and wellbeing of our Berners. We feed our dogs a holistic, natural diet. Our nursery and dog barn are both air conditioned and heated. Our adult Berners are always welcome to join us in our home but truly love their dog barn with decks to lounge on and the freedom to run and romp on acreage. We have a beautiful nursery for the sweet puppies we bring into this world. The puppies stay in our transitional nursery where they become litter trained and then graduate to learning to use a doggie door. Our puppies are family raised, family loved and very well socialized by many others including friends and neighbors.
